Welcome to our 15th Anniversary Puget Sound Bead Festival website! For 15 years, we have brought the best bead artists, instructors, & merchants to the Northwest and Tacoma! our show has definitely grown since its first year back in 1995. That first year, we had 4 classes and 17 vendors - most of whome slept at my house! Each year, we would continue to draw serious beaders from all over our area, and then the country. Now, participants come from all over the world to be a part of this show!

This special year we have put together an exciting and fabulous group of instructors and classes for you. Those new to beading, as well as the jewelry professional, will find something new & innovative this year to add to their list of jewelry making skills. Some new faces, and some of your favorite instructors from past years, to give you a bead show experience you'll remember for years to come!

For 15 years I have loved this show, however it is now time to pass it on and move on to other projects. My long-time assistant, Melissa Lovejoy Goldman, will be obtaining the show from me after this summer's event. It was important to me that the show stayed locally owned & operated, and I know she will do a fabulous job. I look forward to opening an additional store location for The Bead Factory in Bellevue in late 2010 or early 2011. So now I can spend time at my show doing my favorite thing - shopping!
